If the shoe fits...put the freakin' thing on already!
I'm a (real close to) 48 year old Sicilian/Irish Butch New Yorker currently single and recently moved into my 82 year old Moms home to be her chief cook and bottle wash. I am also enrolled full-time online (for now) in college, currently going for my BS in Political Science degree. Mid-life and hotflashes certainly have an effect on the psyche.

I'm happy with myself, love who I've evolved into over the years, and only wish to fix one thing....holding onto a lifelong relationship. Sadly I've yet to master that, however, I am happy to report, I am a constant work-in-progress and refuse to give up my old school way of thinking and believing that my damsel (so to speak) is out there. Now, if I could just get my tired old ass on that White Horse...we'd be set! Oh yeah, sense of humor in all my relationships, platonic and otherwise is a MUST!!!!
