"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." Ralf Waldo Emerson
I guess the easy stuff first. I am divorced and have two very lovely boys, ages 8 and 11. They live with my ex not very far from me here in Sacramento. I love to spend time with them, especially being able to help them with homework and kiss and hug them before they go to bed. I miss the beach, but being much closer to the boys far outweighs this grievance. I have yet to find a great place to start running again. I have asked several people, including one of the doctors I work with, who is an avid runner. I am looking forward to getting back into a good running routine. Sacramento offers so many good areas with having two rivers running right through it. I recently started a brand new job. I am a veterinary technician for the same hospital I worked at 16 years ago when I was living in this area. I had started with this group of hospitals back when I was attending UC Davis. A big change from operating a RadioShack store before my divorce.
