I always struggle with how to describe myself. I could say I am (or try to be) kind, compassionate, empathetic, intelligent, giving, responsible, funny, and a whole other plethora of adjectives. But I also believe no set of words, in any order, language, or said with any level of passion, can define me. Perhaps the best idea to get an idea of who I am, is to ask who I am not. Or, to sit down with me and hold a deep conversation. I'm an lover of stimulating conversation, sunrises, children's laughter, peace, the fight for freedom and civil rights, shakes, making people laugh and smile photography, literature, warm hugs, hanging out with my friends, getting soaked by warm rain, the sound of the ocean... I love so many things in life. Another one of them is you.
