"we don't see things as they are, we see things as WE are." ~Anais Nin
i am a lesbian, or gay, or homosexual, or whatever anyone wants to call me really. i don't offend easily, but i'll defend who i am to the hilt. i see nothing wrong with being gay... it's my business, and i was born this way. if it was a choice, i'd have made the smart one... no one wants to grow up in intolerance and ridicule. that is one of the things i could have done without. i was pegged as gay before i even was fully aware, and it only made me want to hide it longer. (i've only been out since age 21) it would have made life so much easier if i could have been able to recognize myself earlier, but alas... i guess i had to learn tolerance myself, before i could be me completely... i've rambled, but that is just another part of who i am... i tend to be long winded... i enjoy story telling... not just telling a story, but making the listener feel as though they can see events unfolding right before their eyes. i enjoy making people laugh... after all-- it is the best medicine.
