I grew up in Cajun country, Louisiana, raised on crawfish, gumbo, Coke and too much fried food.

I went to LSU in Baton Rouge intending to become a lawyer, but I went with journalism.

When I'm not at work, I go out or stay in with my friends. We go to karaoke every Monday at Fenian's Irish pub. I've only gone on stage once: Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young."

I'm a glutton for thrills and intense conversations. I walk really fast. I find humor in odd words and other unique ways of expression. I have an ENFJ personality on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, if you’re into that sort of thing.
