Place Of Rest - Poetry Group

Recommended Posts

So beautiful she is in my eyes,
A Soul surely sent to dwell, in lover's guise.
A form of gentle beauty and of delight,
To drink the sunshine and sleep in her arms tonight.

Untold visions came to my mind,
No longer alone, a place of rest.
How I longed and yearned for a special love,
And found a gentle, throbbing, trembling heart.

Fair as the maiden, but with a softer shade,
Endowed with Venus like beauteous charms.
A perfect woman made especially for me,
She stretched her languorous limbs in sleep.

With rounded arms thrown above her head,
Her dimpled smile just opened in surprise.
When, by chance, this door did open,
She no more to roam alone from dusk to dawn.
