.Standing, I weep alone,
Unable to advance in life
As this jail cell holds me in my place
Listening to their laughter, I weep alone.

Sitting, I work alone,
Willing to be my own friend
The crushing restraints never loosening
Waiting to breathe again, I work alone

Running, I hope alone,
Pushing a faint noise from my throat
I lose hope of interaction
Watching them win, I hope alone

Wishing, I wait alone,
They come, they go, I stay.
My soul fell from my body
Lonely, I am alone
