GAY PRIDE

At the age of sixteen,
All alone, I would cry.
No one to talk to,
I wished I could die.
No one to listen to the words I would say,
As a youngster I was frightened and gay.

I wanted to tell them,
All my feelings inside.
But I was joining the army,
I'd hoped this would subside.
Now a dozen years later that soldier has gone,
No more denying, with my life I get on.

I've pride in my heart,
I've friends all around.
It's good to be out there,
I'm gay life is sound.
Some call me "dirty", "you queer" or "fag",
You can no longer hurt me, I'm proud, fly the flag.

the majority are I guess, but you do find the odd worm.. Spraying your car, would be a nice change if they had the guts to say it direct to your face... Why cant people just let others live their lives as they wish.. Hope things are getting better..
