Cold the ice chills not the bone/The soul till all emotion flown/Numb the heart encased in ice/The frozen prison of my life/Built myself to keep from me/ Those who my soul and my love would free/But you came and broke those icy walls/With subtle smile and late night calls/But now you're gone and I'm alone/Again in winter's grip with no warmth of my own


Heart In Ice is a very well written piece of writing, it is emotive and very metophorical.
