I worry - Your WRITES

Something I got from my mum
I worry
I worry about those that I love
But when it comes to me
I just say I'll be fine
I think it's the helpless feeling
Wanting to do more
I love you so much and I worry
I know there is only so much I can do
And you'd hate it if I smothered you
I can't wrap you in cotton wool
Sometimes you just need to walk out my door
But when you're away I miss you
I love and miss you more
I try to see the glass half full
But when you're gone
I just feel empty
So I worry more
I love you with all my heart
Damn I hate being apart
I want to hug you so tight
And gently kiss your lips
In the morning's light

Funny how the mind works--I enjoyed reading "I Worry" and then all I could think of is a very important thing I learned when I was 34--"When you worry you are spending time in the future and not dealing with the here and now" Also "Most of what you worry about never happens"--I realize that has very little to do with "I Worry"--when you love you worry! :O)

Nobody wraps me in cotton wool. Nobody hand feeds me grapes and fans me with palm fronds. Curses!

Come on down Jack---not much cotton wool but a lot of palm fronds--especially by the pool! :O)

Martin, you're the first person who's offered. If you have red grapes, I'm there!
