I must be under some peculiar form of stress of which I am not consciously aware because I can't get Doris Day's "Que Sera, Sera" out of my head. That's just entirely tooo Gay-- even for me. : )) I need some kinda help-----maybe prayers------or maybe some of you guys to sing along with me....... : )) Happy 4th of July, Lads!

If you need the song drop me a line with a private EMAIL and I can send as an MP3 file.
It IS a good song.. Sorry that a lot of posters on here may be too young to remember Doris let alone the song... So to them I say Que Sera Sera (Whatever will be will be is the translation).

Happy Independence day to all my fellow Americans... It's America's Birthday Tomorrow.

Ah, yes, you're right, Dave-- some are too young to remember the fine music of the 50s and 60s. My parents introduced me to 50s music, and my young aunts let me in on the 60s hits. My aunts even taught me how to dance with them-- American Bandstand-style--alas, somewhere along the line, I forgot those moves and picked up foxtrotting and waltzing, instead. And to think I once wanted to be like John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever".......... : ))

No music past the 80s in my house, Tom! : ) With regard to modern music, I spend most of my time with that of the 50s and 60s-- some of the 70s........... I like a few hits from the 80s---what was that one real popular in the Gay community back in the early 80s-- "The Tide is High"........

I love that doo-wop, sound, Dennis....... Really good partner-dancing, slow-dancing music from the 50s. And the lyrics-- lots of fine poetry: "You're a thousand miles away/And I still have your love/To remember you by...." Tommy Roe, the Everly Brothers, etc.-- so many real poets, fine musical artists..........

I like any music that doesn't scare the cat......... : ))

I favor music that is good for partner-dancing-- you know: the kind that lets the two of you get up close and personal for a few minutes........
