The Eagle asked Alice if she should like a spot of tea.
Alice replied :" Yes please, but this tea is missing its spot. Whatever shall we do?"
Beaks as brittle as bones.
Alice says: "I shall go to the Leopard as he never changes his spots. But perhaps he shall lend us some. One wonders why he would not change his spots. I've tried standing in a spot, but found it rather hard not to leave the spot."
The Eagle says :" If one never leaves a spot, then how does one arrive at the spot in the first place? Perhaps it is the spot that leaves you."

Alice gets up from the ground, revealing the tombstone behind her with the name 'SPOT, Loyal friend to the end'

Alice: "It's true, Spot did leave me..."

Thanks guys, I was drawing inspiration from that insubstantial dreamworld that Lewis Carroll captures so well.
